1000 frames to choose from and a knowledgeable and friendly staff we are
confident that you will be able to put your best face forward.

At our facility you and your family will receive a comprehensive eye exam
from ages 6 years and up. Contact lens fittings and evaluations are
available for those times when eyeglasses are not desirable. Sports or
formal affairs for instance.

Dr. Saras Rustagi and his wife Nitu have created a family inspired to
practice. Together they are committed to honesty, integrity, and
creating lifelong relationships with their patients, employees, and the
surrounding community…

Dr. Rustagi, a member of both the American Optometric Association and New Jersey State Optometric Association, is the director of eye care at Upper Montclair Eye Care & Wear. Dr. Rustagi received his
undergraduate education from Rutgers State University in New Jersey and then completed his Doctorate in Optometry from Inter American
University, where he earned the Dr. Angel F. Romero award for his
academic achievements. Dr. Rustagi then furthered his training with his
residency at The State University of New York College of Optometry.
During his training at the New Jersey and New York Veterans
Administration Hospital, he worked closely with the UMDNJ department of Ophthalmology and gained valuable experience in the treatment of Ocular Diseases.

Dr. Rustagi has been licensed to practice Optometry in New Jersey since 2002. He has considerable experience in eye care for children and
adults. He also has experience with difficult contact lens fits like
astigmatism and multifocal lenses. Dr. Rustagi offers complete eye exams with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataract evaluations, and LASIK pre-screening. Surgical Co-management services for LASIK and cataracts are also available.
